The team behind it was very dissapointed since they did run on scedule and the game had a lot of goodwill from both the gaming and game journalist community. This work is a good example of such, from a Maine oceanfront estate where the gentleman of the house traveled the world and brought back many treasures from his travels. This strikingly beautiful French work is one of the finest needlework art pieces we've ever seen, with strong and vibrant colors depicting an active mill and a town scene of hunters, fishermen, families walking in the woods, and much more. This very impressive artwork is far beyond the quality that you'll normally see, and it's in excellent condition measuring approximately 21.0 high and 42.5 wide in a gilt wood frame. The back of the canvas is marked as Royal Paris and it also has other markings that may include the artist but which are hard to make out without removing the canvas tacks and taking it off the wood frame. Note the realism captured in ways such as the mill reflecting off the water of the little pond and the tiny figures going about their tasks out among the trees and in the town. This is an important work, very high quality and incredibly detailed and lovely to look at. It carries the original paper label from the Empire Studios in New Canaan, CT.
