Emily was well educated at Amherst Academy and attended Mount Holyoke Female Seminary in South Hadley for one year, but returned home to spend her life in seclusion.Emily, usually dressed in white, seldom left her house and had few visitors, but actively maintained many correspondences and read widely. By the late 1860s she lived in almost total physical isolation from the outside world.Extremely prolific as a poet, she left behind 1,775 poems, though less than a dozen were published in her lifetime. Her first volume of work was published posthumously in 1890 and the last in 1955.Emily Dickinson died at age 56 on May 15, 1886 in Amherst.ScreenshotsLast updated: 01/07/04Boarding School 52.00Joan BlondellStore CategoriesToronto, Ontario, CanadaDimensions: 40 x 14 inchesProduct Type: Art PrintList : 25.00Your : 23.00Have YOUR say onThe Year Without Santa Claus inThe Z Review Forum! The Year Without Santa ClausRead our Review ofThe Year Without Santa Claus HERE!Bedard Posters Prints Limited Editions Artwork PostersMichael Bedard was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada and eventually settled in Los Angeles in the late sixties. He first entered the art marketplace in 1977 with a series of whimsical and allegorical art prints -- many of which are still in print today. Bedard's Sitting Ducks poster is one of the most widely recognized and largest selling posters in the history of the medium. He has consistently topped the list of best-selling poster artists for nearly twenty years. Very few artists can make a similar claim. In the early eighties, Bedard was looking for a way to express a broad range of feelings about the human condition and wanted to use humor as a vehicle for addressing very serious issues such as vulnerability, alienation and anxiety, as well as social and political observations. Michael Bedard chose the duck because it symbolized the vulnerability and attitude that comprises the human psyche.:=()/|{ ) |\|||ejm 96 JOnce Upon an Enchanted EveningLisa Jane8x10 Fine Art PrintMP3: tips + gearMP3-related softwareMP3-related newsYour Recent HistoryLearn MoreRecently Viewed Products Chanticleer and the Fox by Barbara Cooney (Rate it)Duck Soup, Movie Poster by Michael Bedard barewalls (Rate it)Redwork (An Avon Flare Book) by Michael Bedard (Rate it)Sitting Ducks by Michael Bedard (Rate it)Sitting Ducks by Michael Bedard (Rate it)Recently Viewed Categories Books Subjects Children's Books Authors & Illustrators, A-Z ( B ) Bedard, MichaelCustomers who bought items in your Recent History also bought:
